I’m gonna give you some good lovin’ baby, the way you know good lovin’s supposed to be. It’s from the Good Lovin’ Manual, clause 5, sub-paragraph b). Oooh yeah. Clause number 1, well it says “Treat your woman right, buy her flowers and she always will be true”. And clauses 2, 3 and 4 – well they’re all something about foreplay – I dunno, I haven’t read them, I’ll leave that up to you. It’s Clause 5 that really interests me, especially sub-paragraph b). Where it says “…take your pretty lady, and make her dreams come true with your red-hot, blue-veined love machine”. I’m gonna give you some good lovin’ baby, the way you know good lovin’s supposed to be. It’s from the Good Lovin’ Manual, clause 5, sub-paragraph b). Oooh yeah.

Pencil Me In 02:20
Pencil me in for the revolution, I know that I can make a contribution if my diary’s free - if my diary’s free, if there’s a window of opportunity. Pencil me in for my expiration, don’t know if I want burial or cremation. I want to keep my options open, a better offer might come along. Pencil me in. Count me in 100%, count me in – as long as it’s convenient. Pencil me in for Armageddon, I’ve got a good idea just where I’m heading that week, Tuesday seems fine ‘till 2. I’ll check my people, I’ll get back to you. Pencil me in.

Sugar Shaker 04:15
Gather ‘round boys let me tell you a story, I know that it is sad, don’t know if it is true. The mill boys sing of a woman from Babinda who could swing a cane knife like the gun cutters do. And when she’d swing, she’d sing with a voice as clear as the morning. And her hips would sway like the cane fields sway in the warm northern breeze. And when she’d move she’d flow just like molassas, dark and smooth and sweet. And her laugh was like the rain, it washed away that solid heat. No one else ever sang that way, no one else ever moved that way, no one else ever laughed that way – and when she walked through town all the Tully boys say: “Shake it”. The monsoon rains came down in November. The Johnstone River ran brown and wide. Two cruel eyes watched as she rest by the water’s edge. Old man croc snapped – the cane lands cried. He went shake, roll, dive to the bottom of the river. Now that was many years before, the men don’t swing their knives no more, but the cane fields are still growing, and the Johnstone is still flowing and the old men watch the flames dance as the cane field burn. Yes, the flames shake and dance and their memories return. No one else ever sang that way, no one else ever moved that way, no one else ever laughed that way – and when she walked through town all the Tully boys say: “Shake it” Shake, roll, dive to the bottom of the river.

Get A Life 02:52
: I’ve made a discovery. I am the victim of a grand conspiracy. Little things are sent to try us, that much I concede. But for all the rest I blame society. I blame the government , the church, the telephones, the electricity, the media, the police, the public service and judiciary. The multinationals and the fast-food industry. Every single bastard in the world has got it in for me, but I find comfort in my anonymity. And there’s a peace that it brings, my insignificance is a wonderful thing, I know I’m not to blame. Oh yeah my conscience is clear, I’m not a player I’m only a pawn in the game. I know I’m not to blame. I think I better write a Letter to the Editor and tell her that the kids are running wild and the climate’s getting wetter and the immigrants will take our jobs, just you wait and see. Just because I’m paranoid it doesn’t mean that they’re not after me. So I relinquish all responsibility. And there’s a peace that it brings, my insignificance is a wonderful thing, I know I’m not to blame. Oh yeah my conscience is clear, I’m not a player I’m only a pawn in the game. I know I’m not to blame. But I’m just one man. I do the best that I can. But when things don’t turn out right, I get a scapegoat in my sight and one thought gets me through the night – that is I’m nobody’s fool, my insignificance is a valuable tool, I know I’m not to blame. . Oh yeah my conscience is clear, I’m not a player I’m only a pawn in the game. I know I’m not to blame. The internet is to blame, I know I’m not to blame. Terrorists are to blame, I know I’m not to blame. The Americans are to blame, I know I’m not to blame. There’s always someone else to blame.

The disappointments of another day seem twenty thousand miles away, the moonshine light in black curtain light is like a voice in time that seems to say “don’t worry, with dawn will come another day”. Still she haunts me phantom-wise moving under the clear blue skies, the clear blue skies of another day, clear blue skies many miles away will come back again. With dawn will come another day. Moving under the clear blue skies, moving under the clear blue skies, the moonshine light in the dark of night reminds me that the clear blue skies will come back again. With dawn comes another day.
